Writing down things related to the focus points creates ease in the process. The brainstorming consists of many elements and symbols.
40 box rule
The 40 box rule is not quite famous but is one of the famous techniques that help a designer to think out of the box. Thinking out of the box is highly essential to produce something on your own. The 40 box rule consists of 40 boxes and in each box, you start drawing logos. The first one would be considered as the cliché one and the last would be your creation. In between, there are varieties of logos derived from one another.
Availability
Once you’re done sketching up the logo, you search the internet and the market. This is done to know whether the logo exists or not. If a similar logo exists, one should go back to the 40 box rule and start all over again because one can’t simply afford plagiarism. People claim copyrights if there are similar elements in the logo. This results in heavy penalties. It also affects the reputation of the company. It is better to search and know whether the logo is legally eligible or not.
Symbols and Text
Symbols are an important factor. They are used in the logos to depict the nature of the company or the name of the company. This helps in recognizing the logo very easily. The symbols should be strong enough to position in people’s minds. The text should be impactful and according to the nature of the company.
Color theory
Color theory plays an important role in uplifting the overall look of the logo. For instance, if the logo is for a restaurant; a designer must pick colors that strike hunger; for example, yellow and red. Similarly, if a logo should be calm then blue color should be used.
A logo visually represents your company and one should focus on getting the best one made so that a positive impression of your company is created on the clients.
